Album Review: Sempiternal - Bring Me the Horizon

Sempiternal - Bring Me the Horizon

As far as new music releases go, 2013 is lined up to be a great year, especially for the world of rock where we’re expecting new albums from 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall Out Boy, Jimmy Eat World, Paramore and more. The year has already gotten off to a great start with outstanding albums from Biffy Clyro and Bullet for My Valentine and the new releases are still going strong. The latest album release I’ve been following is that of Sheffield metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon and their 4th studio album, Sempiternal.

Station Manager Application Guidelines

The academic year is drawing to a close, and while this means deadlines-a-plenty, it also means we need to elect a new Station Manager, and this is where you come in! Every Fuse FM paid member is eligible to vote, and we will arrange a date for the election closer to the time. Paid members are also able to run for the position of Station Manager (I'm aware some people will have been away for the year, either abroad or on a year in industry, and membership may not have been paid for. We will have to assess these people on a case by case basis).

The World At When Podcast 3

This week, on the World at When, anchorman G. Sniffchin & Co. bring you the best news from this universe and its neighbours. We discuss the ethics and implications of Sauron forging his one ring, the continuing struggle for Disneyland's independence from the USA, Hercules' forthcoming autobiography, and more.

Review: Bullet for My Valentine @ O2 Apollo 15th March 2013

It’s 7pm outside the O2 Apollo and a huge queue of eager metal fans wait outside for the Welsh metal titans that are Bullet for My Valentine. From what I experienced the first time I saw them at Leeds Festival 2012 expectations were high. My night started off with seeing the second support band Halestorm. They storm through a brief but satisfying 6 song setlist. The band play with great energy with an exceptional performance from vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale who is on top form both at her ability as a vocalist and at motivating the crowd.
