Album Review: Save Rock And Roll - Fall Out Boy
Back in late 2009, many pop punk music fans including myself received the devastating news that Fall Out Boy had gone on indefinite hiatus. The band may have been gone but they were never forgotten and every now and again the question of whether or not they’d get back together would pop up and to say the day that Fall Out Boy got back together would be one of the greatest moments ever is no understatement. On 4th February this year, that very day arrived and it was met with joyous celebrations.

The year has already gotten off to a great start with outstanding albums from Biffy Clyro and Bullet for My Valentine and the new releases are still going strong. The latest album release I’ve been following is that of Sheffield metalcore band Bring Me the Horizon and their 4th studio album, Sempiternal.
Review: Bullet for My Valentine @ O2 Apollo 15th March 2013
It’s 7pm outside the O2 Apollo and a huge queue of eager metal fans wait outside for the Welsh metal titans that are Bullet for My Valentine. From what I experienced the first time I saw them at Leeds Festival 2012 expectations were high. My night started off with seeing the second support band Halestorm. They storm through a brief but satisfying 6 song setlist. The band play with great energy with an exceptional performance from vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale who is on top form both at her ability as a vocalist and at motivating the crowd.
