This weekend, Fuse took perhaps it's biggest step towards the move to it's new home so far. A few of the Fuse techies came down to test the new equipment we've obtained so far but once they had tools in their hands, they just couldn't stop. This resulted in what you see above. Piles of equipment tested and ready for installation, reems of wiring lists and other designs and a Studio 1 stripped of much of it's wiring and equipment.
It was about 2 years ago that I was declared by techie Matthew Leach to be Fuse FM's resident Kraftwerk expert. And as such, I couldn't let myself get away without informing you about an event coming up this Sunday on BBC Radio 6. This weekend, our friends over at the British Broadcasting Corporation will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the chart success for one of the most iconic electronic tracks ever created. The Model by Kraftwerk.

23-year-old Yasmin Shahmir kicked off 2012 with the Shy FX-produced Light Up (The World). With her debut album also due for release this year, Fuse FM caught up with her to chat about her career to date, and what else 2012 has in store.
2011 was a crazy year for you, is there one moment that stands out as your favorite?
It’s just too hard to pick one moment, There were so many highlights, the whole year was just one big experience.
Is the coast clear? Good. It's James here. Head of tech down in Fuse. Now I've been trying to do my revision but I need music to concentrate. So you know what? I've snuck down into Fuse FM to put us online for a few weeks. So we're going to be bringing you fantastic music throughout the exam period to keep you going. And who knows? Maybe there'll be a couple of shows thrown in there every now and then. What can you expect? Pleanty of great music for certain. Other than that, who knows. So keep tuned in up until our climax with Pangaea on 28/01/12.
Rihanna: Talk That Talk Review By Nikos Voulgaris
Rihanna may be the best artist that Barbados can take pride of, but she is, in fact, way more than that. Having sold over 20 million albums and 60 million singles worldwide she is fairly one of the best selling artists of all time already, before the age of 24. Using a mixture that is far from rare, she is loved by her fans for connecting RnB, hip-hop and house music in her albums.
Yes, I know it's not even Christmas yet, but if your NYE plans are looking a little thin Fuse FM has just the thing for you...
